Trump Rips Into CNN and Newspapers Over Anti-America Coverage

US President Donald Trump has once again launched a sharp attack on major American media organizations, accusing them of spreading biased and misleading narratives about his administration and the ongoing tensions involving Iran. Trump specifically targeted The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and CNN, claiming they have become “completely insane” in their reporting.
The controversy began after Trump reacted strongly to media coverage related to the Iran conflict. Taking to social media, the US President criticized what he described as unfair journalism and accused these outlets of portraying America negatively while downplaying its strength on the global stage.
In a lengthy post, Trump mocked the idea of Iran surrendering and claimed that even if the country openly accepted defeat, several American media organizations would still refuse to acknowledge it as a victory for the United States. According to Trump, outlets like The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and CNN would instead attempt to twist the narrative and present Iran in a favorable light.
Trump wrote that if Iran’s military forces were completely destroyed, its leaders surrendered, and white flags were raised, the media would still avoid giving credit to the United States. He sarcastically claimed these organizations would describe the situation as a “spectacular victory” for Iran instead of recognizing America’s power.
The President also used harsh words against CNN, calling the network “corrupt” and “irrelevant.” He referred to The Wall Street Journal as the “China Street Journal,” a phrase he has used in the past while criticizing the newspaper’s editorial stance. Trump further stated that both the Democratic Party and sections of the American media have “lost their minds.”
This is not the first time Trump has publicly criticized these news organizations. Last month, he accused The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal of publishing false and misleading reports about Iran-related matters. He also labeled several reports as “fake news” and demanded apologies from the publications for what he described as dishonest journalism against both him and the United States.
Trump’s ongoing conflict with the media continues to remain a major part of his political style, especially during periods of international tension and election-related debates.
